This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Vacation part 1: Kent Haven

What a vacation!  Actually, after all that driving, it is nice to be home!

Our 10 days vacation started down at Kent Haven.  We joined Grantudy and Grandad down on the Sassafras a little early to kick off the July 4th holiday.

We wore our pajamas way too late...

... cozied up with grandparents....

...splashed like ca-razy in the baby pool....

... and traded bedtime routines for sunsets on the dock...

Moments I want to bottle up and remember forever!

Aaron, Anna, and Lucy joined us at Kent Haven to keep the celebration going.  The babies chased each other, traded toys, and made some cute artwork for Grantudy.

Grantudy was eager to get some Chase and Lucy art up on the walls so we "caught some crabs"

We spend lots of time down at the beach.  And lots of time taking pictures

Chase introduced Lucy to the baby pool and then showed her how to splash.  Lucy was not a fan.  Chase strikes again-- splashing Lucy right out of the pool.

We dubbed Chase the pool pirate after continuously splashing so much it drive Lucy form the pool. Gramps had to have a little talk with the pirate about pool etiquette!

Saturday afternoon we left our little sandy-nugget at Kent Haven and headed north for yet another wedding.  My good friend Jim got married to a very sweet Penn Stater!  Good choice sir!

Party Fail.... Kevin forgot dress shoes so we we arrived at the wedding only before making a pit stop at DSW.

The wedding was beautiful and all the personal decorations were very touching.

Oh and there was a photo booth..... too FUN! (the sign says, "crashing a wedding is easy, just ask us!")

Congratulations Jim and Jen!!

And we made it back to G&G's house in time for a bonfire and yummy S'mores.
