Getting out

We are deep into summer and noticed we really don't do much during the week.  We have been so focused on Chase's "routine" of dinner, bath, book, and bed by 7:00, that it leave us pretty much locked in the house every night.  We were thrilled when the colic stopped and a routine began to develop.  Now that we have it perfected, it is hard to deviate from.  So I made it a point tonight to break the routine and have a little fun.

Chase and I called daddy on the way home from school to tell him we were taking him out for Mexican!  Yummmm!  Even though I could tell Chase was a little off (tired and maybe running a temp)... I wasn't going to cancel our surprise!

Chase was doing great and even trying some of mommy's chicken and beans.

15 minutes after snapping these pics our boy projectile vomited all over the floor.  Aaaaaaand that's what you get for having a little fun and deviating from the plan.  How was Chase?  He was fine.  Just splashing away in the vomit on the table while we tried to wipe down the contamination.  Sooooo FUN! (*sigh*).

(UPDATE).... 3 days later he is still a pretty sick pup :(
