growing up too fast

There are endless reasons we love Nana, our daycare provider.  One of my favorite is the surprise text pictures we receive occasionally.  It is usually a very worthy occasion.  She is also known for teaching "Papacito" new behaviors and then telling us about it.  Like when she transitioned him off bottles in one day, she just surprised us with the news.

Well, imagine our surprise when we got a text picture this afternoon.  Chase sleeping on a cot with the big kids.  Evidently, Chase hasn't been napping very well lately, and has taking to waking up everyone in the babies' room early -- wanting to play.  So Nana moved him into the big kids room to nap on the cots. 

He took to it perfectly and without protest.  It is almost like he wants to grow up too fast.

I have to admit.  This milestone made me cry.  He just seems too little to be sleeping like the big kids (and free from bars no less!).  But, our little nugget is growing up.
