This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Santa's on his way....

What a celebration!  The whole family has been looking forward to this event for so long.  This was the first Christmas for Chase and Lucy to spend together and Grantudy and Gramps' house. It was a warm your soul kind of experience.  Grantudy and Gramps had everyone under one roof and the excitement and Christmas cheer was exponential.... and so was the amount of cookies.  If there is one thing this family does, it's food... and we do cookies better than anything else.  There were probably 4-5 dozen cookies per person in this house (and two of those were wee-people, not indulging in the sugary confections quite yet).  Of course, that didn't stop Grantudy from sneaking the peeps a bite our two.  Which is how Chase learned yet another favorite word, "cook-cook"  which would be, cookie.  We still aren't sure if he re-named Grantudy "Cook-cook" all together, but this boy knew the goods and knew who was sucker kind enough to get them for him.

G&G's' house was brimming with Christmas cheer and decorations, which was why it was not hard for the toddler tornadoes to destroy the place in minutes.  The poor nativity scene took the brunt of it- Chase was a magnet to the donkeys, camels, and the poor angel- who lost its wings after a wobbly Chase sat on her.  We all said a little prayer for the angel... and that G&G's house would still be standing come Christmas morning! hahaha!

Look at the guilt! hahaha!

The tots loved playing with each other and we found ample time play wherever we went.  On Friday night we celebrated Gramps' election to Chester County Judge!  The tots ate fast and clowned around for all the other people in the restaurant!

Love

We also loved playing at the playground during the day...

...and every night we bundled up, wiped our cherry red noses, and took long walks around the neighborhood to see all the pretty lights.

As the time ticked closer to Christmas morning, we found plenty of time to just be.  We reveled in the simple play and warmth of the family

Chase loved the big white doggie!

These two are quite the handful!
