This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Changing seasons

This fall was a lot of fun.  Great weather, colorful leaves, and lots of fun learning activities.  Chase is developing like crazy, stretching his boundaries and exploring his abilities.  He loves to climb and build towers with blocks.  He has become quite the car aficionado ... and by aficionado I mean calling out "Caaaar" each and every time he sees any and every car.  This includes the car in our own driveway, and every car he sees in traffic.  He calls and points at each car with new enthusiasm even if it is the 40th car he's seen in 2 minutes.

As the seasons change, he is exploring all his surroundings, including an unassuming pile of leaves he jumped in after we got home from school.

A spoon really adds to the fun

With fall on its way out, we got down to business making things merrier and bright.

Chase is becoming more of a goofball and knows it.  He goes over to the closet and gets out his hat and puts it on his head.  Obviously he has gotten such a big reaction to this that he knows we will eat it up.

You think that's exciting, wait until we add the ornaments!

"I love Christmas lights!"

Even though it is getting colder out, we are still determined to get outside and PLAY!

Mealtime has become more fun as Chase is exploring more table food.  I say "exploring" because there is not a lot of eating... unless you count Roxie who seems to eat very well during dinner time.

Lastly, our little guy has become quite the bookworm and our hearts just explode when he brings a book over to one of us, hands it to us, and climbs in our laps.  Literally explodes. Ka-boom.
