Night out with the stokes

We took a last minute offer to join the stokes for dinner.  I have to say, we have been less spontaneous since having the little nugget and are happy that we are back to a comfort level of saying, "who care about a schedule or routine, let's do it!"

So we did it!  We fed Roxie and jumped in the car.  We had delicious Mexican food and both boys loved watching the fire breathing tortilla machine spit our warm, fresh, tortillas.  After dinner we walked over to see the ice skating rink.  The boys loved watching the ice skaters zoom around the cold rink.  Chase did some of his own zooming and took off running.  It was the funniest thing.  Aleis commented that although Logan started walking months before Chase, he doesn't RUN like that.  I think everyone is starting to agree that Chase has lived up to his name.

As we continue to Chase the little terror around, we found it fitting to try out one of his early Christmas gifts.  Grandtudy and Gramps got Chase a trike for Christmas so we had to see how the helmet fit.  Chase loved it. and ran around with even more wild fury!
