New friend for Chase!!

Yesterday our good friends Laura and Scott welcomed their beautiful baby boy Colin Edward.  As one friend put it, "Colin couldn't have picked better parents."  I got to meet little Colin today and he is so precious and beautiful (with amazing hair I might add).  It was fun to sit back and see Scott worry about making sure Colin's hat was on snugly and watch Laura get lost in Colin's sweet face.

It really made me miss those first few days with Chase.  I can't believe he is almost 7 months old and twice Colin's size!  In a way it feels like just yesterday, but it also feels like he has been a part of us forever.  As I left the hospital I had a good little cry in the car.  Besides still being totally hormonal, I was just overwhelmed by how lucky and blessed I feel.  Lucky to have such an amazing little family and blessed to have beautiful friends who are about to embark on a journey I can hardly put into words.  I am so excited for Laura, Scott, and Colin and thankful for a healthy and happy delivery.

Chase is mostly excited to have a new best friend to collect rocks and salamanders with.
