Oh yes, I am going to be THAT mom...

So this past weekend I finally got a little time to explore the new lens I got for my birthday.  It is called the "nifty fifty" and supposedly great for taking pictures of people. Those pictures where their precious faces are crisp and intense and the background is all kinds of blurry.  Yumm, my favorite.  So this "fancy camera" thing is really hard to learn, especially when peanut burger is squirmy like a fish out of water!

As for this weekend.  It was glorious!  Friday kicked off some beautiful weather. Saturday morning I hit some consignment sales with 1 new mommy and 1 mommy-to-be.  I got a few good buys and was home in time to enjoy a beautiful day with Kevin and Chase.  We hit up a new fish shack for some shrimp tacos. Perfect nuggets of goodness and then visited some old friends in Leesburg.  Saturday night I joined my girlfriends for some good food, wine and games.  I laughed so hard I gave myself  headache!  Sunday wrapped up with some grad school work (blah), a nice long run and some snuggling with nugget and daddy.  A perfect weekend all around.
