It was amazing... we were giggling in bed like like little kids. But then Chase really did get up and we had to trudge through the shower and get ready for work. We were smiling and whistling and even the yucky rain outside couldn't dampen our little family celebration.
In other news... somebody has been slowly perfecting a new skill. I guess we can officially say Chase has sit still long enough to learn to, well, sit still. Last night I took the first official no-hands-picture-while-mommy-quickly-snapped-the-photo. This photo followed the failed first attempt to catch him on camera called mommy-thought-you-were-balanced-enough-to-take-a-picture-don't-worry-the-bump-on-your-head-is-really-small

This morning I happily sent off Chase's baptism invitation below. So thrilled with how it turn out and my DIY skills!
