This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

New Years resolutions?!

So this time of year I am thinking about new years' resolutions, but all I can think about is our little guy.  Therefore, my resolution this year is to be present.  I want to aim to be present and enjoy each day.  Time is flying too fast and I want to slow down and enjoy it!

To remind us to enjoy the changing seasons and growing nugget, I am creating a bucket nugget-of-goodness list for this year.  With being a working mom, it leaves less time to love on my little nugget and this list will help us focus on finding the fun in the every day.

This list may not be mightly, but I am aiming to succeed.
  •  Take TONS of photos every week
  • Build a snowman snownugget
  • Take nugget sledding
  • Make a homemade V-day card with Nugget for Daddy
  • Take my lil' leprech-nugget to a St. Patty's parade
  • splash in puddles  after a rainstorm
  • picnic every month (even if it has to be inside)
  • Do the zoo
  • build sand castles
  • hang our feet off the dock
  • wear lots of BLUE
  • pick strawberries and make jam with Grantudy
  • Take a spontaneous road trip to a place we've never been
  • become the worlds best 'smores maker
  • plant a vegetable garden
  • watch the sunrise (not a problem with Nugget's alarm clock)
  • midnight swim at Kent Haven
  • Take LOTS of evening walks
  • have bubble baths
  • make some Nugget art
  • play in a pile of leaves
  • Finish painting the Master Bathroom
  • Throw Nugget an awesome birthday bash
  • make Nugget's Halloween costume (maybe)
  • Master my pumpkin carving skillz
  • Make a nugget ornament for the tree
  • Celebrate another year of nuggets-of-goodness
