And they ran fast to us. They said, "How do you do? Would you like to shake hands with Thing 1 and Thing 2?"
The tiny cousins are uniting this weekend to ring in the new year!! Aaron, Anna, and Lucy are on their way to our house bringing love, laughter, and littles. Our little nugget can't wait for cousin Lucy and can't wait for her to get here to play. And we can't leave out Grantudy and Gramps who are also coming to ring in the new year.
It's all love. Pure love.
Oh what a spectacular year it has been. Looking back, 2009 closed with a miscarriage and some sadness for what could have been. But who would have known hidden behind that first winter snowstorm, a determined stork braved the arctic conditions to deliver our little nugget to us. As we sipped Champagne and watched the bubble rise to greet the new year, little bubbles were brewing... Bringing nuggets of goodness, twofold. Oh 2010, I love you. I will hold a special place in my heart for you, and all the good things you brought our family. But, this I know for sure, there are going to be so many good years to come and bless this family.
