This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Boring and loving it

We are 1 week hospital free and happy to say, thanks are boring and I am loving it!  We just had a decent snow storm hit today and we are happy we got home early since Washington DC pretty much shut down.  It took some friends over 6 hours to get home!!  We watched the snow fall as we snuggled down.

This being Chase's first official snow storm, we had a lot planned.  First we bundled him up to take his first photos.

Back inside, I had to get some work done while Chef Kevin starting banging pots and pans in the kitchen.  After a little too long wondering what was going on, I come in to investigate and find...

SWEET MOTHER OF SALTY, BUTTERY, GOODNESS.....

So after I ate one seven, I checked in on Nugget napping.

This probably seems mundane, but our little nugget is almost 5 months old and just learning how to nap.  It helps that he is a master roller-overer and we can't keep him off his tummy.  I know, cringe that this isn't part of the back-to-sleep campaign, but 3 doctors have reassured me that once he can roll over, stomach sleeping is fair game.  I begrudgingly accept this fact and let him sleep check his breathing 13 times an hour.

This might be the first pictures of him napping since he was 2 weeks old.  up until now, he usually naps in his swing... which is hard to take a picture while the nugget is swinging at 30mph.

After a good nap (phew) Chase was ready for more snow fun.  We built our first snowman snownugget (and got to cross of one of my goals for 2011, happy dance).  It was a perfect size for Chase, though we haven't gotten the "sitting" thing down so nugget's photo session was pretty comical...

So making Chase's snownugget was MUCH easier than taking the photo op.  But like I said, life is boring and we are loving it right now.

That is the cutest idea ever a snowman kit!!! Where did you get it Hillary? "oh my marvelous shopper Mom bought it at this fabulous store and paid a fortune for it!!!" (aka. The Christmas Tree Shop, $3.99!)....I guess you won't be making fun of my Christmas Tree Shop(even though everything is made in China, so no chewing on the Oreo-like buttons Chase!)
