This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Kimchi is officially off the menu

Everyone who knows Chase knows he is a "spirited" little baby.  That is mommy's nice way of saying... he is a CRIER... a car alarm, full meltdown, DEFCON 1, 9-alarm crier.... ALL DAY LONG.  At over 4 months we have outgrown the "colic" excuse and medicated the reflux.  We were starting to wonder if this was going to be is temperament from here on out (small tear).

A few weeks ago during a visit with Aaron, Anna and Lucy, my brother was teasing Lucy during one of her fussy moments.  They call Lucy "Cabbage" since she looks like a cabbage patch doll.  Lucy was having a little fussy spell and Aaron called her "Sauerkraut."  If on queue, Chase had an explosive melt down and thus earned the name "Kimchi"... the ultimate fermented cabbage (get the reference?).  And thus, Chase earned the new nickname, Kimchi.

Well after 3 straight days of happy-baby-bliss, I debated, held my breath, and braved jinxing ourselves to send Aaron and Anna an email.... SUBJECT: Kimchi is off the menu.  That's right folks, the restaurant is no longer serving Kimchi.  They will always have cabbage, and sometimes serve sauerkraut on special, but they have officially 86'd Kimchi!  Whooo hoo.

I CANNOT describe our happiness.  The storm clouds have finally parted and our little rainbow has appeared with smiles and giggles worth more than any pot of gold.  And with that, I am outta here... off to enjoy my Kimchi Nugget Of Goodness.
