This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Tiny Pilgrims

Happy Thanksgiving!  We celebrated Thanksgiving in PA with not only Grandtudy and Gramps, but the entire clan.  Aaron, Anna and Lucy drove up and Great Aunt Jill, Great Aunt Jennie, Great Uncle Todd and cousins Jamie and Trevor all flew in to meet the littles.

This was only our second long car trip with little man and we were still making adjustments.  Timing is everything and after a quick fill up (gas and boob milk), we moseyed along until Captain Grumpy Pants needed some more milk, a diaper change or just to get the heck out of his car seat for 5 minutes.

I love a good holiday.  And this is the way it was all supposed to work out.  We passed the babies, counted tiny baby toes, rocked their tiny baby bodies, and smoothed their tiny baby hairs.  These babies are so loved and a sat back and just took it all in.  I love our family and these were memories I had to chisel into the back of my heart so I would never forget them.

This is Thanksgiving. This right here, is being thankful.  Drink it in, babies. Drink it in.

The doggies got some extra love too from all their aunties and uncles.  Roxie found her place by in the fire and never moved.  Well, she did move... closer into the fire, until we all got a little worried and dragged her out... while checking for singe marks.

And we got a visit in with Aunt Katy...

Grantudy had the crazy idea of making pilgrim hats for the babies.  No one thought she'd actually do it.

We are truly thankful, from the deepest meaning of gratitude and grateful.  Our hearts are warm, or glasses are half full.  Our baby might be wailing in the background, but boy oh boy am I grateful for that too.
