You are thriving and we are both proud to say we have survived this far! HAHA! We have seen the doctor a lot this month. We had an ultrasound of your sacral dimple (all clear), got on two reflux meds (marginally working), and made many more trips to the doctor for multiple cases of I-know-my-baby-has-colic-and-there's-no-cure-BUT-DO-SOMETHING-NOW!
Yes, the colic and crying has been really hard, but we are persevering. I say every day that we are so lucky to only be dealing with colic and though you are a handful, it is totally worth it.
This month you smiled for the first time and rolled over both ways. We think you are brilliantly smart of course! Or you just might be so angry that you arch your back and roll over! We spend our nights trying to console you with rocking, singing, shhhh-ing, swaddling, bouncing, and anything else we can think of to get you to sleep. Above all, you love your swing. It is just a simple hand me down swing, but it is worth double its weight in gold. We have finally found something to soothe and calm you.
Luckily you are so darn cute and are doing a LOT more smiling so that makes up for all the cries!
