Tough guy

Today was Chase’s first doctor’s appointment. We were giddy with excitement. We I have so many questions to make sure we are doing a good job. At 5-days-old I am so nervous. I can hardly remember what life was like before this amazing little angel came into our lives. He is perfect in every way and lights my heart on fire.
Chase was so brave for his first visit. Here he is being a tough guy.

He did a great job for his first visit with Dr. Shah.  Oh, and she said we were doing everything right despite my constant doubt and worry.  Which I was informed will never go away now that we are parents.  And so it begins.  But the joy and overflowing love outweighs the doubts and fear.
