We got to play for a bit before the fun began. Of course we had to try to get some pictures of the kids in their costumes. ok, well most of the kids cooperated.... Alex would not suit up for pictures. but we did finally get him in costume with the lure of candy!
Alex and Kameron were a little shy, but Chase knew the routine and the big reward and was happy to lead the way with "TRICK OR TREAT" and a quiet "thank you" and he ran to the next house. It didn't take long for Alex and Kameron to get in on the game!
It was an awesome night!
UPDATE: Now that the cat's out of the bag, I wanted to make a note. In addition to all the trick-or-treating fun, we also ratified a contract on a new house while walking from house to house. Yep, we had seen our perfect house a few days before and just at the first doorbell rang, we got a call from our realtor that we had a ratified contract! Whoo hoo! It was perfect timing since we had just sold our house in 6 hours and 4 competing contracts, so we needed a place to go!
