There was a lot of Chase telling Lucy what to do, but she seemed to be happy to come along for whatever hair-brained adventure he came up with.
It was a great Mother's Day weekend and life made very easy.
We spent plenty of time at the park. The littles played well together and couldn't get enough of the see saw ride even though they would have been thrown off if an adult wasn't holding them down!
Gramps and Whitney spent hours deep in conversation. Honestly, this man says he is better with toddlers, yet he hogged the baby the whole weekend. I am ok with it. Seeing Whit and her Gramps just melts my heart :)
For mother's day, Grantudy brought a smocked shirt that I wore as a little baby. Whitney looked so adorable in the vintage frock, updated with some mint colored skinny jeans! What a fashion icon!
I wanted to get a nice picture of the 3 generations of women for mother's day, but it just didn't happen. Kevin begrudgingly took a few quick pictures of us while Chase kept trying to photo bomb our moment. I kept him out of the photo by throwing his car off into the distance and saying fetch! By that time Whitney had had enough and was having a rare fussy moment, and G-tudy and I had lost it considering the toddler who would not stay away. One more "fetch" and we couldn't keep it together. But, I kinda like the chaos! haha
There were also some of my favorite quiet moments. Whitney looking up at her Uncle Dude and Dad and Chase out for an evening stroll.
Finally for mother's day, the kiddies cooperated for one shot of all three of them. This was the best of the 66 pictures we snapped of these three!! Happy Mother's Day!
