This weekend was the annual YaYa weekend for the girls in our family. So I headed down to Nashville with Mom and linked up with the best cousins, Aunt, and sister-in-law! We spend the weekend eating and checking out some of the honky tonks, but mostly catching up, gabbing, and laughing! It was so much fun. We even hit up the famous American Picker's store.
And as is the annual tradition, when I go away for YaYa weekend, Chase always hits some milestone that I don't get to witness! But, super husband once again got it in film, so on Saturday morning I got a texted video of Chase crawling out of the pack n play we keep on our room for him to play in while we get showered and dressed. Oh no! I feel the end of our freedom slowly slipping though our fingers! haha!
Luckily, by the time I got home, I caught yet another latest milestone for Chase. Singing. He is not singing a short song that goes, "Monkey see, Monkey do, I see monkey at the zoo. If you make a face, he might make one too. Monkey loves to mimic you." Once again, I love our daycare for teaching him and I thank our child for being so darn adorable.
While I was in Nashville I missed some terrible storms we had in VA. The storms left so many people without power for days. I was so thankful Kevin and Chase didn't lose power while I was gone, but we offered our house to many friends to help in any way.
