It is quite a shift from just a few years ago, but it feel natural, and it feel good. I love these girls and I love their kids. This weekend we stopped to celebrate the newest anointed member of PSU 2.0. Amelia bravely joined the clan of all boys, breaking with tradition, and shining some mighty girl power for such a little thing.
The three "C" musketeers of Chase, Colin, and Carter, stopped to admire their newest member, if only for a few fleeting seconds before continuing their path of toddler destruction! We also celebrated a few IYBs that couldn't make it, including Katie who is working on the 5th little member due to arrive in a few months.
We sat around in yoga pants and PSU T-shirts, not unlike many Saturday's at PSU, but this time we played with duplos, sang songs, and made funny faces. Life is good and my batteries are re-charged after a weekend of overflowing love, good memories, and making news ones with the second generation. I love that life keeps surprising us when were didn't know it could get better.
