Chase got tons of attention like usual and hammed it up for the crowd!
Kevin picked Katie up after Chase's swim lesson and we got a little snuggling in before sending Chase to bed. It was so fun to sit around the kitchen island and catch up. Peter arrived early Saturday morning after taking the 4AM train and got to meet Chase for the 1st time! Peter is so ready for one of his own!
Saturday we relaxed and cheered on Chase as he mastered sitting and played around with some commando crawling. We ate, and drank and just enjoyed eachother.
Our big event was Saturday afternoon when we took the whole crew over the the Horner's house to meet baby Colin!
It was a great day to catch up with great friends and love on the babies. Chase did very well meeting Colin!
Chase and Colin were instant friends! Kevin and I both commented in sheer shock at how little Colin was compared to Chase. He just seemed to weigh nothing. (Later that night, I cried.... my baby is growing to fast.). We all fought over the baby until it was time to leave. We popped our homemade casserole in the oven before heading home for our own dinner. Nina and Kevin joined us for a super fun IYB night!
Aunt Megan took every opportunity to feed, bathe and put Chase to bed! What a lucky little boy he is (not to mention a nice break for mommy!). Chase did not want to miss the fun and woke up a few times, but he happily went back to bed so mommy could bask is some good 'ol girly chit chat while the boys watched basketball.
Sunday we said goodbye to our friends and all went to bed early! It was a fun but exhausting weekend.
