This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hand, foot, and mouth bunny
It is finally starting to look and feel like spring this weekend. Friday night we skipped swim lessons so we could visit with Sara and Ryan and meet baby Silas. He is adorable and oh so tiny. Our little nugget looked so huge next to him.
Our party animal pulled an all nighter on Friday night for no reason (or so we thought, keep reading). So mommy and daddy spent most of Saturday morning Chase-tending and napping. The real fun was Saturday afternoon when we got to spend some time with our favorite photographer taking pics of our growing boy (tear)! We had some great weather and as always her pictures were truly amazing.
Sunday we had another rough night and were up early again (do we see a theme here?). We took the risk of going to church during nap hour. Boy do we live life dangerously, huh! But first, we couldn't resist taking some pictures of our bunny (Gram-bunny, Chase will get you back. one day). I know it is shameless, but might prove useful as blackmail in about 18 years. right?
We got through a very hot and crowded Easter service thanks to our good friends, Gerber puffs. Chase sat, played, bounced and drooled... and when that got boring after 10 minutes we had to resort to food to keep baby happy. After he inhaled the applesauce I brought, we hit the puffs. Chase is a big fan of puffs. We spent the rest of Easter mass whispering in a hurried voice "Puff. stat. now. PUFF! NOW!"
Only yesterday did we figure out why our little guy has been a bit fussy lately (not sleeping!) with on and off fevers. Sunday night he was sporting a pretty hefty fever so I took him to the doctor Monday certain he had an ear infection. Ears looked great. Damn, I thought, I am that mom that sounds the alarm for nothing. Oh but wait. Doc looked in his mouth and lightheartedly announced he had Hand, Foot and Mouth disease. WAIT. WHAT? Oh yes, little man is sporting a yucky virus. Luckily he only has the mouth strain so his hands and feet are spared. Poor little guy. On the bright side, this little Nugget will have a perfect attendance record for kindergarten!
Happy Easter from the Hand, Foot and Mouth-bunny
