This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Fall fun

It's been a big week.  Chase spent his first night in his big boy crib.  6 weeks and I was ready to have my bedroom back.  The transition was fairly easy too!

We have been keeping very busy. Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit and couldn't believe how big our little guy was getting!

Look at those long skinny legs!  Chase definitely has been going through a growth spurt, but is still a skinny string bean!

I love the fall, I love the changing colors, the crisp breeze, and the holidays.  We started our fall celebrations recently with a surprise visit up to Philly to see Sarah who was home from Egypt! And it was a good excuse to stay with Grantudy and Gramps who enjoyed spoiling their Peanut Burger and giving him a bath!  Grantudy has been a huge help in giving me some relief during the night feedings.  I have been able to nurse Chase and then she does all the rocking back to sleep.  Chase has been fighting the swaddle, breaking out of the "straight jacket" mere seconds after we wrap him up.  I am desperate to keep him swaddled for fear that he won't sleep, but Grantudy called it quits and worked her magic to get that child to sleep sans swaddle.  I don't know how she did it, but little dude is sleeping right now without being swaddled.

In even more exciting news... Aunt Katy came for a visit and brought with her some very exciting news.   She's pregnant!  And we are thrilled!  We can't wait for Chase to have a new buddy to explore life's adventures with!

Oh, and I also painted the entire kitchen while Chase napped this weekend.  Whew... that was a lot of work!
