This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Cruising and house projects

Now were in trouble.  Whitney is cruising.... and taking down everything in her path.  She only started pulling up a few days ago, and now she is making tracks around the coffee table.  Chase is tickled with delight yelling "look look look... she's doing it!  Go Whitney go!  Go Whitney Go!  I'm so proud of you!"

And we are so proud of him.  I hope he will always be her cheerleader.  We are seeing a nice bond between them forming.  From day one, there was never even a hint of jealous.  I was so thankful.  Now 9 months later, I am actually thinking there might be a real friendship possibility!

This weekend Aaron, Anna, and Lucy came for a visit to see the new house.... and to help with a couple of projects of course.  Aaron's Christmas present to me this year was a Home Depot gift card and a work weekend of labor.  So I am already cashing that gift in!

We are adding outlets and cable to a new wall in the family room to allow the TV to hang on the wall.  We have lived for about 6 weeks with a cable running across the family room tripping everyone who passes.  Enough is enough!

As the boys struggled to figure out the TV, Whitney came to the rescue showing them how to use a tape measure and find the back of the TV screws. LOL

The other project we did was building a mud room cubbie.  We were too rushed for time, so instead I will just post the finished product after everyone left and I had time to sand, caulk, and paint!  Ta da!  I couldn't be more happy or proud of this build.  Aaron did most of it, but I really got to assist and learn.  Grantudy and Gramps would be proud.
