We are still soaking up our new family. Chase has really taken to Whit and at least for now, asks to hold her a lot.
These weeks are going so fast and we are taking our time to be in the moment and soak up all her sweet sweet features.
Grantudy and Gramps arrived for Easter and they brought with them the Gran-bunny. It is amazing how goofy my parents are now that we brought them some grandkiddies.
Chase really never took to a "lovie," but over the course of 2 years has become temporarily attached to various toys that have had to come to bed. Early on he brought kitchen utensils to bed, then there were a variety of trucks, cranes, and diggers. He even took his play lawn mower to bed once (it wasn't worth the fight). Recently, he has been taking his "flashlight" to bed. A small light saber from 2 Christmases ago that had a little candy in it as a stocking stuffer. It is back in favor I guess... and a little creepy to see glowing on the monitor.
