I am officially working from home now (as an alternative to bed rest) and going for weekly non stress tests at the hospital to monitor for signs of any pre-eclampsia.
This weekend we snuggled in bed in the mornings, spending an extra long time getting up and ready for the day. I am purposefully trying to soak up the time with Chase and hopefully create some fun memories for him... though I am sure watching Diego is just about the only memory he has! haha!
We went our for brunch together this weekend which is something we never do. It was fun and Chase was a very good boy. I also did a quick project for Spicy and painted the drawers of the changing table dresser. I think it adds a nice pop of color!
Lastly, after only 3 months at his new job, Kevin received a promotion! He is now managing quite a large team of people and is bonus eligible! To celebrate, he cashed in his little nest egg of birthday money he has been saving to buy a new laptop. As soon as it got it home... Chase told him, "Daddy this is my pin-queter and I let you use it." Awwww, don't you love a 3 foot dictator!
