Tee Pee

We are enjoying the final days of summer.  We made it a priority to always sit down for dinner as a family, although a certain 2 ft. person never actually eats.  So we were happy to see a couple of simple tongs actually got him excited to eat his dinner.  Whatever works, right?

This is one of my favorite pics of my boys.  There is something sacred about that time of day when the sun is low, the air is warm, and you realize everything in life is as it should be.  Magic.

Chase decided to add a little spice to our walk and demanded that he get out and "pull you."  This arching pregnant mommy was NOT going to squeeze into the wagon, so daddy put on a goofy show and Chase was thrilled to pull him down the street.  Notice the bare feet?  Just like his mommy, never needs shoes ;)

One of our recent favorite games is to play in the tee pee.  That's right, my Aunt Jennie made Chase a tee pee for his birthday.  Every once in a while it is fun to see what he has left "stashed" in there.  A sippy cup, 3 cars, a birthday party hat.... haha.  Little treasures.
