This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Camp Grantudy

We have been long awaiting this week.  Nana's is closed for a week and Grantudy is here.  There is a warm feeling that envelopes my soul when I know my mom is on her way.  At 31, I still need my mom.  She has the right advice (usually), the gentle touches, she spoils her grandchildren as well as her own kids!  And frankly, she likes to iron, what's not to like?

With mom in town all week, Chase and his 'tudy only strengthened their bond.  Now mostly, that bond was over silly youtube videos and sweet frog ice cream, but do not question the strength of his bond.  He insisted on sitting with Grantudy  for nearly every activity.

Chase kept 'tudy on her toes with his incredible language skills.  He is only 22 months and is speaking like a 3 year old.  We don't know how he picked up on it, but he knows his ABCs and can count to 10 in English and Spanish.  He also knows a variety of songs.  Not only is his language so well developed with probably close to 500 words, but he is speaking in full sentences and using prepositions and verbs.  Who knew!?

At the end of this week we head to the beach for another week of fun with both Grantudy and Gramps, as well as Aaron, Anna and Lucy!
