This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

Big boy barnyard birthday bash

It was a big big day.  Our little due turns 2 and we celebrated down on the farm.  Chase's love of tractors is second only to construction trucks, and since having a party at a construction site might prove a bit difficult, we went with the community funded Frying Pan Park.  Not only does the farm have TONS of animals, there is no shortage of tractors, tractor rides, and even a carousel.

It was quite a windy morning and before long, both of our adorable animal balloons were launched into the sky.  But despite the wind, it was a beautiful and pleasant day for late August!

All the kids got farmer hats and bandanas.  It was cute overload.  One of my favorite shots of the cousins decked out in hats and scarfs.  Come on, isn't Lucy's dress and cowboy boots the PERFECT farm outfit!

Everyone had so much fun.  I had to step back and see how far we have all come.  So many happy families with adorable little ones.  We are so lucky and blessed to lead such fulfilling lives. Chase loved his cake, especially the tractor that he drug through all the frosting!

And of course, no birthday would be complete without Amy's famous cookies.  Aren't these the cutest thing you've ever seen!  One guess as to Chase's favorite.  Me, I loved the bandanas!

There was a theme to his gifts this year... every girl had some sort of wheels.  From trains to trucks, our little man is ALL BOY!  Where are we going to put all this stuff!
