We were all extra excited because it was the first time in close to a year that all 6 of us were together at once! Our lives have been so busy with marriages, babies, demanding jobs, and social commitments that it is harder and harder to carve out time for all of us.
Saturday morning we gathered at Nina's house early for coffee, and girl talk, and of course a tour of the little lady's new nursery. It was adorable and all ready to welcome our little girl in just a few weeks!
Laura did an incredible job of decorating for the shower and Katy had us channeling our creative side with onesie and bib decorating! It was a lot of fun.
Nina was showered with adorable outfits, lots of books, and TONS of baby equipment. There was tons of love in that room and we celebrated for our dear friend and the wild adventure she is about to embark on!
After the shower, we headed back to Nina's where her husband, Kevin, had set up for a post-shower party with all the men and kids. Kevin and Chase greeted us when we arrived back and we all talked, played, and told funny stories of our college days... stories we hope this second generation might never hear! haha!
Chase was his usual wild self, turning on the charm whenever the camera came out!
The IYBs loved on our kids and snuggled with both Chase and Colin. We all said we have to get all the kids together soon for some fun playtime. We were missing Katy's boy, Cater, who was back in Philly with his CeCe. Before long, there will be 4 G2's to chase after!
