So it is clear that our little man is destine to be a chef. He loves kitchen spoons and goes no where without a whisk, but lately he has been obsessed with the pots and pans. He pulls out all the big pots first, then one by one tosses the pans onto the kitchen floor, making just enough room for his tiny body.

Then he reaches out and pulls the doors shut. He will sit so still until someone calls out, "Where's Chaaaaaaaassssseee???" and then he bursts the door open with the biggest grin.

We don't dare forget to call out for him, otherwise we are afraid he might stay in there waiting for his queue (yeah, right?!).
The noise accompanied by this routine is nothing short of deafening. The poor dog runs for cover when the pasta strainer hits the floor knowing more is to come. As each pot emerges, Chase bangs it dozens of times against the floor and against its sibling pots. And little man loves every second!
This weekend we had even more reason to let the "wild rumpus" continue. Chase's buddy Logan turned the B-I-G O-N-E! The little slugger had a baseball themed party and Chase helped Logan celebrate wild-animal-style.
The two of them ripped through all the tissue, paper, boxes and cards. There were little peeps all over the place teetering, wobbling, and running about! It was so much fun celebrating such a special day for Mr. Logan!

Chase had a little too much fun thrashing about and tripped over his own feet into the dinning room table (grace like his mother). Mark this down as Chase's first shiner. His eyebrow took the brunt of it and the swelling was immediate. Mommies huddled around for reassurance and once the tears stopped, Chase never skipped a beat.
