For Thanksgiving we went with Aaron, Anna, and Lucy to Grantudy and Gramps' house and also Jamie, Aunt Jill, Aunt Jennie, and Uncle Todd flew in as well. I just love a full house of family. It was a little cold, but we found some time to play at the playground. Chase and Lucy are really enjoying playing together and it is so fun to watch them make each other laugh.
Chase found that watching the construction trucks work in the neighborhood was just as fun as playing at the playground. Who's surprised?!
As is tradition with every holiday in PA, we find some museum or factory to visit. This time we went a little out of our way to check out the Crayola factory. Everyone had a good time, kids and adults alike. Our favorite station was the model clay. We rolled it, cut it, and colored it for the better part of an hour.
No trip to G&G's is complete without a ride in Gramps' 1922 Model T depot hack. It was a bit cold, but we all loved the ride around the neighborhood! Chase and Lucy took turns screaming "Weeeeeee" as we drove!
We dove deep into Thanksgiving. Surrounded by family, we were all thankful for our health, happiness and expanding family. Speaking of expanding family, the YaYas threw a little surprise shower for Baby Spicy girl! She got so many cute outfits and lots of love!
Once again this year, Grantudy whipped up some Pilgrim outfits to torture the tots. Lucy was having none of it and ripped her bow off before we got a pic. Chase was not much better, but we got a little blackmail for the future.
We rounded out our visit with a visit to see Santa. A local nursery had asked Santa to visit and he even brought one of his reindeer. The anticiaption of meeting Santa was a little more exciting than his actual arrival when both Chase and Lucy took a big step back in trepidation. They like what Santa brings to the table, but I think they are a little unsure of the bearded man. The candy canes however--- big win.
