The beach with friends

This weekend we brought some friends with us to the beach.  We have all become good friends as our boys were born three months apart and Melissa have exchanged notes through all the phases of ups and down of being new parents.  Now that the boys are really starting to interact with each other, it was the perfect timing to hit the beach with good friends!

As much as we thought the beach would be the big attraction.... Alex and Chase loved the golf cart even more.  The screamed "weeeee" every time we rode it.

Down at the beach, both boys took to the water and loved the easy going lifestyle we have gown attached to over the years down here.


We play in our pajamas late into the morning, then slather on the sunscreen and pack the floats and snacks and spend the rest of the day at the beach.

After a busy day of beach fun, we made sure to show off one of the most special features of Kent Haven... the sunset.  And this weekend it didn't dissapoint.  One of the best so far this summer!

Most weekends we make our way to the Galena Kitchen, just a tiny hole in the wall with hot coffee and delicious breakfast.  The boys loved it and were definitely garnering the attention of all the locals with their crazy antics.

We will definitely be bringing the Zienteks down again, for many years to come.  The start of a great tradition!
