It was a BIG weekend. Our niece Lucy is turning one. The whole family gathered in Richmond to celebrate one beautiful, spunky, and adorable little red head!
Saturday morning we made a little detour across the James river to a huge farmers market. There were tons of local vendors and people enjoying the morning. Gramps and I headed straight for the coffee tent and then caught up with everyone at Mrs. Yoders doughnuts. She makes them fresh on location and is not stingy with the sugary glaze. It is what dreams are made of!
We made a pit stop on the way home to get the wild animal's hair cut. Lucy got her's cut the day before and Anna raved about the shop called Pigtails and Crewcuts, so Chase had to give it a shot. Isn't it funny that you don't notice your son needs a haircut until it is cut and you look back at pictures and think... why in the heck did we wait so long! HA!
Anna decorated in the most fun colors of aqua, lime green and bright pink.
