This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

The mundane and beautiful

Life has hit a comfortable pace.  I wouldn't say slow, but it familiar, routine, and beautiful.

Whitney is getting so big and has joined her brother in the bath time fun. He really loves her and asks to take baths with her.  We love that he is so inclusive of her.

Whitney is also starting solid food! And she seems to really enjoy it, or at least tolerate it.  We started with sweep potatoes and squash and it was a success.

Chase often finds a way to interact with Whitney.  She isn't crawling or sitting up, just scooting and rolling around.  At first I thought he was "sharing" his trucks with her....

But then I heard him say, "don't open the gate, I am trapping this tiger."  Evidently his form of play was to restrict her's.

We visited our favorite winery this past weekend-- Breaux Vineyards.  How times of changed...  instead of taking pictures of wine glasses and vineyards, we are down on the ground taking pics of the kids.

But at least we make parenting look cool... The side pocket of the baby bag can be used for more than just one kid of bottle!

Some other pics of our rhythm of life...

I had to capture the picture of Whitney with her fingers.  Always those two fingers.  Awake and asleep she loves them.

Lastly, Chase, Whitney and Roxie playing.  Excuse the missing pants-- its wasn't a priority.

Gramps, Chase, "lem-a-lade" and busytown.  Always. and. Forever.
