Just this week Chase has taken a liking to randomly pointing out people in pictures around our house. We have had the same pictures up for years and he knows they are there and who is in them.... but recently he has been taking then down off the tables and telling Kevin and I, "look, that's my mommy and daddy." It is quite cute.
This afternoon, he grabbed the picture from our wedding day.... that has been sitting in the same place for 5 years, and told me, "look, this is my mommy and daddy. Look at Mommy, she looks like a princess." It was so freaking cute and I have never even heard him utter the word "princess" before. I am sure he learned it from the girls at daycare... but no matter, it was adorable.
I heart melted into a big puddle. That boy always surprises me in the most incredible ways.
If I am a princess, then he is my prince ;)
