This is our story. It might not be exciting to some, but we think it is THRILLING... most of the time. Life is flying by too fast and this is our attempt to stop and capture the good nuggets in our lives. You may notice a trend in these posts... it may have to do with our favorite little nuggets currently sitting center stage in everything we do, think, and live.

Hope you enjoy and leave a comment or two!

9 months old and hellooooo Mr. President

Big day today!  Our little nugget is 9 months old!  Chase has been developing like crazy!  He has gone from no interest in crawling to flip-flopping his way across the floor!

He has started to mimic clapping (more like fist bumping) and making "UH OH" sounds!  He is having lots of fun!

His new role is a professional Cheerio eater specializing in  trying to shove as many as he can into his mouth as fast as his little hands can go.  He is also skilled at hiding them behind his head(?).

Today was his 9-month doctor's well visit!  Our little dude is doing so great.  We have to put him on iron supplements for a while because he is a little low, but it shouldn't be for long.  Both the nurse and doctor commented separately on how "active" he is- that is the understatement of the century!  Little man never stops squirming and wiggling.  His weight is still a bit low, but doc isn't worried so we are not.  Just like daddy....

Stats:
Weight- 17lbs 8oz (5th %)
Head- 17 3/4  (50th%)
Length- 28 3/4 (75%)

His activity really showed when trying to capture his monthly photos!  We couldn't keep him still!

Happy 9 month little man!  We love you and are having so much fun watching you develop!!

On a separate note:
I spent 13 hours downtown for a meeting at the White House today, but the perk was I got to meet The President.  It was super fun with a capital AWESOME!!   He spoke to us for a few minutes and then I got to shake his hand.  He is so down to earth, but the secret service was very intimidating.

That night I met Daddy and Chase out for drinks to celebrate our friend Mary Kate's birthday.  Cheers!
