Forward (you know, the part before the beginning of the book)

Thumbs up... this little Nugget is ready to get the show on the road!

Nugget is arriving soon, one way or another. This week we have had 2 ultrasounds and a doctor’s appointment. The ultrasounds are telling us that this little nugget is going to be big. Huge in fact. 9lbs 4oz BIG! So last Monday the doctor says we are going to be induced because our little nugget doesn’t need to cook any longer. At 2 weeks early he/she is ready.... and so am I. I can hardly contain myself. Every night I tell Kevin, “I can’t believe we are having a baby, I can’t believe we are having a baby, I can’t believe we are having a baby...”
The room is ready. The bags are packed. We are ready!!! 

37 weeks!

We are so ready to meet this little guy or gal! Not to mention I would like to hold my pee for longer than 5 minutes and take a deep breath for the first time in 4 months.

Today the ultrasound doctor told us "it’s go time. This baby is big and it is time.... we are going for the C-Section." Seems our little nugget’s shoulders are lining up to walk on the Penn State Football field (Pause for Kevin’s cheering...) so that means we are skipping the induction this Saturday and heading for the OR on Thursday September 2nd!!!!! OMG!!!!

Cue the heavenly angels singing and my heart pounding. It is actually happening.
